This next review goes out too Sufficiently Plump, a rock group who has released a really cool rock opera. They have a sound that is typically very simple in composition but they come out as having a great texture. The have a decent guitar sound, a cool bass, creative drums and good vocals. The guitar is primarily chord based and it helps to create a very full sound. I find the guitar has a beautiful sound that really just makes the music sound beautiful. The bass is really solid, there are quite a few very full bass lines that make this band rock. Finally the drums are cool and they often have some cool fills. The vocals in this band are almost dreamy. They are powerful but they sound distracted and distant. Overall this band is decent however I have one big complaint about their sound. The majority of the time its just low powered. Now if you want to do that okay but still, these guys occasionally get to the point where the low power is just annoying. Overall though this band is good, however I feel with some more energy they could really rock. For example their track “Arrival” is fairly high powered and it comes across as one of the best songs on the album. I still recommend you check these guys out, they are pretty cool.
