Exorbitance

Okay this melodeath band is called Exorbitance and if they do not have brutal vocals I am not writing this review because I need brutal vocals right now. Well guess what, they have brutal vocals :). So now the review really start. This band has a really powerful sound that has lots of melodic bits reminiscent of In Flames or Soilworks. The guitar work is rock hard and super melodic. In short it is extremely enjoyable and it has a really powerful aura around it that creates an amazing black feel. The guitar solos are also excellent they are technically challenging and can easily blow your head off. The bass and the drums come together to make an excellent rhythm section which you can not help but love. The sheer speed of intensity of the rhythm section is a critical piece of this band. The death growls are another essential part of this band and a big part of what makes this group so incredibly awesome. There is so much rage and might put behind the might of the vocals one can almost imagine. Because the vocals are so deep the music becomes a lot more brutal and that is a big part of what makes this band amazing. Thor and Loki battling over control for the singers dark soul. The lyrics typically cover fantasy topics as well as a feeling of depression and despair. All in all this is a sick melodeath band that I beg you to check out because they have such a powerful and inspiring sound.
OVERALL 9.5/10
